What is live, and what is next.
We would rather tell you the truth than win a demo. Here is exactly where Fintra is: what is production-ready today, what is in active development with design partners, and what is still ahead. If a capability is not here, it is not shipped.
Live today
Production logic with real persistence. Every module here posts real double-entry journal entries and is covered by tests.
General ledger, journals, void-by-reversal, period locks, year-end close.
P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance, AR/AP aging, computed from posted journals.
Bank feeds, reconciliation that blocks out-of-balance, PO to receipt to bill match.
Budget grid, budget-vs-actuals, backtested forecasting, scenarios, KPI and driver engine, report builder.
Contracts, SSP allocation, schedules, deferred-revenue waterfall, real journal entries.
The workflow around the pay run: policy checks, commission and cash-need forecasting, anomaly detection, approvals, payroll journals, reconciliation, and audit evidence. Deterministic tax engine with golden vectors and W-2 / 1099 / 940 data plus GL export. Deposits and filings run through your payroll provider, not Fintra.
Cap table, 409A strike gate, ASC 718 stock-comp expense posted to our own ledger.
76-framework catalog, controls, evidence room, audits, risk register, vendor reviews.
One decision endpoint agents call before a money move; live OFAC screening; hash-chained evidence ledger with a verify endpoint.
Governed, signed notes and AI scribe, note to auto-code to claim, AI front desk and scheduling.
Real parsing of QBO, IIF, and Xero exports into live tables with a balanced opening-balance entry.
In active development
Real engines that are wired but credential-gated or still hardening. Live for design partners, honest about what is not on yet.
Stripe, ACH, and card rails are built with fail-closed webhook verification, but default to simulate. Nothing moves real money until credentials are switched on with design partners.
Speech-to-text and the 837P claim clearinghouse are provider seams, live for design partners and on the near-term path.
The one home screen: morning brief, today’s approvals, cash position, open risks, recommendations, recent decisions.
Decisions, not notifications. Built on the real approvals and cross-domain decision engine.
Role dashboards for CEO, CFO, Controller, Operations, and Board. Role-tailored dashboards exist today; the full multi-role tower is in build.
The vertical loops (childcare enroll to bill, dental appointment to claim to cash) run on the real notes and claims engine; full straight-through automation is in build.
Bring your own provider - Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, ADP, Rippling, Paychex. Today you import each run by CSV and Fintra posts the journal, reconciles, forecasts, and adds controls; the provider runs deposits and files taxes, not Fintra. Automated provider connectors are in development with design partners.
A transparent native payroll engine, in controlled development and running in shadow mode for Texas first. Every calculation ties to its inputs, tax-rule version, approvals, journal entries, and compliance evidence. In shadow mode it computes against real inputs without filing taxes or moving any money - it is not live.
On the roadmap
Where the platform is going. Named here so you never discover a gap mid-pilot.
Today Fintra is single-company; cross-entity roll-up and eliminations are on the roadmap. Current "consolidation" is FX translation of one entity.
Durable institutional knowledge the AI reasons over: policies, approval hierarchy, preferred vendors, budgeting assumptions.
Third-party AI agents plug in through the Governance APIs, governed before they can touch money.
Machine Change Assurance runs in shadow mode today; assisted and enforced execution are ahead.
The sales-tax engine calculates, monitors nexus, and prepares filings today; automated return submission and income-tax provisioning are on the roadmap.
A pay run executed through an embedded provider inside Fintra, available when a provider gives us favorable embedded economics. Even then the provider moves the money and files the taxes - Fintra computes, controls, and records. Owning the rail at scale stays an open option, deliberately not promised.
Planned after Texas: Arizona next, then California, each opened in shadow mode before anything is ever filed or paid. Sequenced deliberately, with no dates committed.

The accounting, FP&A, payroll, equity, compliance, and governance core is live and testable right now. Book a demo and pressure-test any claim on this page yourself.
