Frequently asked questions

What does the partner program cost?

Nothing. There is no fee to apply or participate, and your firm’s staff seats are free. Your clients pay their normal Fintra subscription, and your firm earns a share of that revenue.

How is client financial data secured?

Client data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and fully audit-logged, and AI actions are governed at runtime. Our Trust Center documents the security architecture, SOC 2-aligned compliance program, and AI governance controls in plain language. Read the Trust Center

Who owns the client relationship?

You do - your clients remain yours. Fintra is the platform your firm runs them on. We never market to your clients directly or route them to another firm, and if you leave the program your clients’ data is exportable at any time.

Do you help migrate clients from QuickBooks or Xero?

Yes. Partner onboarding includes migration help: chart-of-accounts mapping, historical balance import, and a parallel-run period so you can verify the books match before switching over. Your first cohort of clients gets white-glove treatment.

Is there a certification or training program?

Every partner firm gets structured onboarding and training on the platform. A formal Fintra certification - with a badge for your website and priority placement in the partner directory - is on the roadmap and will be free for early partners.
