Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Fintra website, application, and APIs. By using Fintra, you agree to them. Please read the sections on subscriptions, auto-renewal, and cancellation carefully.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (and any organization you represent) and Fintra governing your use of the Service. If you use Fintra on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@fintrahub.com of any unauthorized use. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempt to breach security, access another tenant’s data, or probe or disrupt the Service;
- reverse engineer or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or resell it without authorization;
- submit data you do not have the right to provide, or misuse AI features to generate unlawful content.
4. Subscriptions, billing, auto-renewal & cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as you select). By subscribing you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for each billing period.
Auto-renewal & reminders
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current rate, so you keep uninterrupted access, until you cancel. Before an annual term renews, we will send you a renewal reminder to the email on your account. If we materially change the price, we will give you advance notice, and the change takes effect on your next renewal.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, and canceling is as simple as signing up. Cancel directly from your billing settings in the app, or email hello@fintrahub.com and we will process it: we will not require a phone call or add extra steps to keep you subscribed. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the current paid term and then does not renew.
Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated in an order, fees are non-refundable once a term begins; canceling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current term. Any refund we do offer is described at the point of purchase.
5. Beta and early-access features
Some features are labeled Beta or Early access. These are provided “as is,” may change or be withdrawn, and may be less reliable than generally available features. We describe the maturity of each capability honestly and do not represent an early-access feature as fully production-ready.
6. AI features
The Service includes AI-assisted features that generate drafts, suggestions, and analyses. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete, are provided for your review, and are not professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Money-moving and other high-impact actions are draft-first and require human approval. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on or acting on them. Our use of your data with AI is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Your data & intellectual property
As between you and us, you retain all rights to the data you put into the Service. You grant us the rights needed to host and process that data to provide the Service. We retain all rights to the Service itself, including our software, models, and brand. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service.
8. Professional responsibility
Fintra is software. It organizes records, runs calculations, routes approvals, and assembles drafts and evidence. It does not take professional responsibility for your decisions, and using it does not create a professional relationship between you and us.
- Accounting. Fintra provides accounting software and workflow. You, and where applicable your accountant, remain responsible for the accuracy of your books, for your accounting policies and judgements, and for any material financial decision taken on the basis of information in the Service.
- Tax. Where the Service computes or supports tax calculations, filings, or schedules, that is software functionality and not professional tax advice. Unless we have separately agreed in writing to provide advisory services, we do not advise you on your tax position and you remain responsible for your filings.
- Legal. The Service includes features for legal practices. Using them does not create an attorney-client relationship with Fintra, and nothing in the Service is legal advice.
- Audit, review, and attest work. Fintra organizes evidence, supports engagement workflow, and assembles draft reports and working papers. The licensed practitioner retains sole responsibility for professional judgement, the nature, timing and extent of procedures, testing conclusions, the opinion or conclusion reached, and the issuance of any report. A draft generated in the Service is not a report until a practitioner issues it.
- Payroll. Where payroll functionality is enabled, deposits and tax filings are performed by your payroll provider unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
9. Compliance and certification
The Service includes controls, evidence collection, and readiness tooling for frameworks such as SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Using Fintra does not make you compliant with, or certified under, any of those frameworks. Certification and attestation are determined by an independent auditor or assessor against your own control environment, of which the Service is one part. We describe our own security posture in the Trust Center and do not claim certifications we do not hold.
10. Third-party data and integrations
Some features present information obtained from third parties: public registries, government statistical sources, mapping and business-listing providers, and licensed commercial data providers. That information is supplied subject to each provider’s own terms, availability, accuracy, and update cadence, which we do not control. Where a provider requires attribution or a specific notice, the Service displays it alongside the relevant information. We do not represent that any such provider endorses, certifies, or is affiliated with Fintra. Third-party systems you connect to the Service are governed by your agreement with that provider.
11. Exporting your data
While your subscription is active you may export your general ledger from the Service in a standard spreadsheet format, and we do not charge an additional platform fee to unlock or download it. Custom migration assistance, bespoke extraction or transformation work, and other professional services may be priced separately. Following termination, we retain and delete data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data; and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. Questions: hello@fintrahub.com.
